"In 2012, when I decided to take an introspective look at my life after more than twenty years on Wall Street, I began working with a therapist who happened to specialize in Core Energetics.

I liked to think of this approach as “therapy meets bodywork and self-awareness.” I had gained insight from therapy in the past, but Core Energetics was different. Quite simply, this approach got me out of my head.

Core Energetics allowed me to discover additional aspects of myself in order to live more fully, with an open heart.

Through my own developmental process, I realized that I wanted to help others, and decided to make this my profession. Core has done great things for me in my life and I have witnessed the impact it can have on others. I am grateful I have found my way to this work and am eager to help others find greater satisfaction in their daily lives."

More About Laura

Laura Chonoles earned a BA from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She worked for more than twenty years in finance, and has served on several nonprofit boards devoted to children’s health and well-being, including the SeriousFun Children's Network. Laura is now completing her four year certification in Core Energetics from the Institute of Core Energetics.

Laura is married with two children and a fun-loving dog--also known as her adorable canine child. She enjoys walks in the park and listening to a range of music as she traverses the city.
